Technician (not just a sales guy) diagnosed and explained options and energy savings. Two man crew in high-tech trucks arrived and removed old equipment and replaced with new in one 8-hour day. Very neat and professional. Next day renovated ductwork, adding supply and return vents as house had been remodeled by inexperienced homeowner. Installed very cool programmable, back lit thermostat. Cleaned up as they went. Now we have the comfort we hoped for and a new favorite heating company. We were also able to speak with the owner, Karl Northern, who really knows his stuff and made us feel very at-ease with the company. We had no idea that these guys mainly do huge Meridian-Kessler mansions. Our house is only 2100 square feet, but they gave us the same VIP treatment as the demanding millionaires on Meridian Street . Highly recommended.

Lost heat in evening during snowstorm. A Northern rep who was not on-call, but lives relatively close to us took the call. He was at our house within the hour. Some detective work was required to determine why the boiler system was not working. It involved an unusual connection to the A/C handler, which the technician figured out. He restored heat in the snowstorm and returned today (with the warmer weather) to work on the A/C. Great customer service and follow-up.
